Products I've used up #2
Hi everyone, it's time for a new "Products I've used up" kind of post. You may have already seen these products mentioned previously on my blog, but this is a chance to sum up all my thoughts on them.
A great great great daily moisturizer which I’ve already reviewed here. It’s light and won’t make you feel greasy. Recommended to anyone except for those with oily skin.
Would I repurchase? I’m already on my second jar!
Another good daily moisturizer, lighter than the Kiehl’s one, it’s perfect for summer when I personally want something that is absorbed fast and that doesn’t leave any residue. Shame it’s finished.
Would I repurchase? Not in the near future, as I’ve set my eyes on another La Roche Posay moisturizer, the Hydraphase Legere.
One of the most effective and affordable face mists. The pump is very practical and the product is extremely effective in hydrating the skin (you will need a moisturizer on top) and it’s only made out of grape water. If you have normal to dry skin, this could be your new best friend.
Would I repurchase? Absolutely!
After Caroline Hirons recommended this among her favourite cleansers, so I had to try it. I really fell in love with this one. It’s a lovely hot cloth cleanser (see here for more information) which you apply, massage and remove with a warm damp flannel. My skin feels clean afterwards, not tight or dry. Oh and it’s only £10 which means it is one of the cheapest cleansers of this kind on the market. In a nutshell: it does its job very well.
Would I repurchase? Not in the immediate future, just because I like trying new things, you know.
This cleanser needs no introduction. It works nicely and has a lovely texture, denser than The Ultimelt and with a stronger scent. It leaves the skin clean and not dry, and because of the thicker texture it must be used with a flannel, but that’s the whole purpose of it! As I wrote in an earlier post it does cause a slight burning sensation, I think because of the essential oils in it, though I would recommend it anyway if you don’t have very sensitive skin.
Would I repurchase? I think so, yes, in the future. It’s a nice cleanser just to keep all year round in my cabinet.
The perfect SPF, do I need to say more? If you haven’t tried this yet, well you’re missing out. Affordable, not heavy and doesn’t leave any white marks. I’m a big fan.
Would I repurchase? Yes, I would.
Oh dear, this mask is heaven and I’ve already explained why in this post. What else can I say? I loved it, it made my skin soft and feel nourished, and it helped a lot with the redness on my cheeks (due to old acne scars). It has some very good ingredients and it’s supposed to help with blemishes too, thanks to Manuka honey which is an antibacterial ingredient used in New Zealand. Again, I’m a fan. I will certainly be trying other products from Antipodes.
Would I repurchase? Totally, but looking to try a few other things first.
For those of you who have a Sephora in your country, you have to try this! It’s a nourishing body butter, maybe not the best option for summer but for all the other months it works a treat. It takes a little while to sink into the skin but it leaves it intensely hydrated and soft. It’s important to mention that it doesn’t have mineral oil — which only gives you the “feeling” of soft and smooth skin — this one does it for real.
Would I repurchase? Yes, in autumn. I’ve already been through a half kilo jar of this (500 g – yes!) and their mini travel version too.
Have you tried any of these products? I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
